What else can you do in Windsor-Essex?

The region includes award winning wineries, breweries and distilleries.  There is a great agricultural heritage that ensures incredible produce through the summer and fall.  Windsor boasts a beautiful waterfront with an extensive walking trail through floral and artistic gardens.  There are also hiking and biking opportunities throughout the region.

For those interested, Windsor also has a Casino which has regular performances from internationally recognised artists.  There are Prohibition Tours through the charming Walkerville distillery district.  In nearby Amherstburg you can step back in history and tour Fort Malden, catching a glimpse of the regions importance in the War of 1812.  Outside of Leamington, you can walk to the southern tip of Canada and explore nature in a bird watcher’s paradise at Point Pelee National Park.
